Comfortable room, welcoming atmosphere, with soft and fluffy towels that made our stay feel homely, and delicious breakfasts served with top quality ingredients that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Charming 17th-century house with stunning views and spacious grounds perfect for wandering. The Ivory room boasts twin beds that, while small, offer comfort in a clean setup with good towels and a surprising touch of local biscuits.

While the room was spacious, the mattress setup on two singles left a bit to be desired—it'd be better as a proper king. Breakfast selection was decent, but the communal dining felt a bit cramped, especially for those who prefer solitude while eating. the shower experience was frustrating as it turned ice cold mid-wash, making for an unpleasant surprise when all one wants is a nice start to the day. You also need to plan breakfast the night before, which can be annoyingly inconvenient.

We had a lovely night here and thoroughly enjoyed the cozy family room with its beautiful view of the garden and the homemade breakfast spread. The relaxing garden area and the leisure room were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. The only downside was some noise during the night from other guests, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience. 😊

Gorgeous stay with great vibes

Spent a night in a lovely suite with a view of the sprawling garden. The owners were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was top-notch with local sausages on point! Just a heads up though, the wifi was a bit spotty at times which was annoying for my work. a chill place to unwind.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free parking, Wi-Fi, and welcome drinks. The staff even provided helpful currency tips on my first stay. I can't wait to return for my next business trip!

Spending three nights here was a mixed bag. The room felt cozy, and I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. loud disturbances late at night hampered my sleep. Breakfast was enjoyable but came with limited privacy. A peaceful location, just ensure to check in early!

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming character of Hollybank House, with its beautiful antiques and spacious grounds providing a delightful atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and accessible, making it a lovely retreat for someone my age.

More seating in common areas would be appreciated.

The family room offered a cozy atmosphere and decent tea and coffee-making facilities, which made downtime quite relaxing. The large grounds surrounding the house provided a scenic view and a peaceful vibe, creating an ideal environment for a weekend escape.

I had a rather sleepless first night due to an overly enthusiastic piano player who seemed to be going for a late-night concert, complete with drunken singing that echoed until nearly midnight. The interaction at breakfast following that chaotic night was uncomfortable, and while the place has potential, my experience was seriously marred by noise issues. the breakfast hours felt early for someone looking to take it easy.
